Hey everyone, I hope you all had a nice Memorial Day Weekend! It's been an exciting week with the Hazards release, and I'm glad that so many of you have had the opportunity to read it!

Found releases in seven weeks, and although I'm going to wait until next week to post a full excerpt, I couldn't wait to share a small teaser. I also thought it was time for another giveaway. The first ten people to comment get a set of signed Hazards and Found bookmarks (Please email me at alyssaroseivy@gmail.com with your mailing address if you are one of the first ten), AND I'll use random.org to select one winner who comments on this post to win mini posters of both Hazards and Found!

Levi's arms wrapped around my waist and pulled me back against him. “How long do you have before Hailey gets here?” He kissed my earlobe before trailing a line of kisses down my neck.
“Not enough time.” I spun out of his arms. “I wouldn’t want to cut your amazing skills short.”
He laughed. “Just wait until tonight, Al. I’ll show you amazing.”
“I can hardly wait.” I leaned up and kissed him. I should have known it wouldn’t be just a quick little kiss. He wasn’t having any of that. He had me pinned against the wall within seconds. My hands were tangled in his hair almost as quickly.

Authors Tell All: Jennifer Snyder

This week I'm excited to welcome Jennifer Snyder as my guest on Authors Tell All! She has a skinny dipping excerpt featuring Addison and Kace from Catalyst. If you love New Adult paranormal, you have to check out this new series!

Also, If this excerpt gets you in the skinny dipping mood, The Hazards of Skinny Dipping will be on sale for $0.99 in honor of Memorial Day Weekend and to celebrate the beginning of summer!

Without further ado, here's Jennifer's awesome scene! :)

"Let's do something crazy." Kace's lips grazed my earlobe as he spoke and I jumped at his sudden nearness.

"Like...?" I questioned, wiping the sleep from my eyes.

We had been lying in bed and I'd been caught in that strange place somewhere between being asleep and awake.

I rolled over from my side to my back and turned my head to look at him. In the dim light filtering in through the curtains I was able to see the mischief lighting his eyes.

"Two words...," he said and then paused for dramatic effect. "Skinny. Dipping."

I became completely awake at the mention of such a taboo topic even he had so readily labeled as crazy. Was he freaking serious?

"You’re joking, right? It's like..." I trailed off and sat up to grab my cell from on my nightstand to check the time. "Two o’clock in the morning."

Kace sat up and tossed one arm over my partly exposed legs. The skin-to-skin contact awoke my magick, causing it to rush to the surface of my skin there and clog my mind with the heady pleasure of it.

"Come on, it'll be fun," he pleaded.

Had there been an adequate amount of light shining on him with the way he was now sitting, I was positive I would have seen him making the most adorable puppy eyes at me. Thank goodness there wasn't. This allowed me to keep my composure—for at least a little while longer anyway.

"Yeah, I'm sure—until we get busted for indecent exposure or something and end up in jail. My mother would just love that phone call."

Kace laughed. I loved that sound. He smoothed his hand along my leg, sending that warmth from my magick sparking across my skin even more.

"We won't get caught, trust me," he said in that sexier than sin voice of his.

My stomach knotted at the thought of being so exposed, but I didn't want to seem like a stick in the mud either.

"Have you ever skinny dipped before?" I asked with a wide smile—one I prayed he thought was coy and not caused by nerves.

"Of course." He trailed his fingers to the hem of my boy shorts and slipped them under just a bit. "What about you?"

I felt my cheeks flush as an uncomfortably dry sensation crept up my throat. Licking my lips, I began toying with the edge of my sheet.

"You haven't, have you?" Kace asked with a slight chuckle.

I bit my bottom lip and shook my head. "No,"

"That makes it all the more fun then. Come on." He grabbed my hand and tugged me off the bed.

I giggled at the smile on his face and the excitement flashing in his eyes.

"All right, I'm coming. But," I jerked him to a stop and looked him square in the eye before I continued. "If we get caught, I will never let you live this one down."

His hands came up to cup my face and his icy blue eyes shimmered with heat. "We won't get caught...but I'm not promising we won't get caught up in each other." He flashed me a devilish smile before taking my hand and tugging me out of my bedroom even faster than before.

When we finally made it out of my house and down to the ocean's shore, I was nearly out of breath and buzzing with Kace's excited energy. The only thing illuminated by the dim light of the moon was the sand beneath my bare feet. The water was dark and the air was the perfect temperature. I closed my eyes in an ill-fated attempt to gather control over my nerves as I listened to the waves crash against one another in their race to the shore.

"Well...what are you waiting for?" Kace asked from beside me.

I took in a deep breath and opened my eyes. Kace was in the process of dropping his boxers. His T-shirt had already been pulled off and tossed to the side, leaving him bare-chested, his body glistening in the moonlight.

He glanced at me as his boxers fell to his ankles in one swift movement.

"Come on...it's not like it’s anything I haven't already seen," he smirked.

He was right, but it wasn't him I was worried about. It was the possibility of others viewing me naked, but also the terrifying sensation of feeling so completely exposed. I closed my eyes and let out a loud sigh as I pulled my tank top up over my head and peeled it off. Glancing around, I dropped it at my feet and then quickly tugged my boy shorts down.

The quicker I could get in that water, the better.

"Damn, that was hot," Kace said.

I glanced at him; he was staring at me with this intense look of lust gleaming in the icy color of his eyes.

"Yeah right," I said with an overly dramatic eye roll. "Let's go before I lose my nerve and change my mind."

"You don't have to tell me twice," he said as he lunged at me and pulled me toward the water with him at the same time.

"I'm not going out far!" I shouted.

Kace nuzzled his head into the crook of my neck and whispered, "I know, only to your waist...that way I can still see the best parts about you."

I smacked him on the shoulder. "And what does that mean?"

"What? I still wanna see your...eyes.  I'm definitely an eye man." He grinned devilishly.

"That you are," I smirked.

"Seriously though, I know water isn't your favorite thing. Don't worry, I've got you," he said as we continued out just a tad bit more.

I wrapped my arms around him and smiled. "I know."

The water was warmer than I imagined it would be. With the moonlight above and Kace wrapped around me, skinny dipping wasn't nearly as nerve-wracking as I'd anticipated.

Kace leaned down and brushed his lips against mine in the softest of ways. Any anxiety or fear of us being caught evaporated into nothing. He trailed his fingers along my collarbone and I melted into him even more.

"I can't believe we're doing this," I said in between kisses.

"Believe it," Kace muttered as he trailed his warm lips against the hollow of my throat.

"Mmmm, I do...and I can see exactly where this is headed afterward too."

"Was there any doubt as to where something like this would lead?" Kace asked, his tongue skidding along the top of my shoulder.

"Never," I breathed as I gave it to the ambiance of our scenery as well as to what I was feeling in the moment.

This was definitely a moment that would be etched into my memory forever. Skinny dipping, who would have thought?

The Hazards of Skinny Dipping Release!

Hey everyone! I'm really excited to announce the release of The Hazards of Skinny Dipping! Juliet's story is filled with both romance and humor, and I hope you have as much fun reading it as I had writing it. :)

This isn't a deep book about first loves or self-discovery. If you want a book like that, I'd be happy to recommend one, but I don't have that kind of story to tell. Instead my story is about rash decisions and finding out that your dream guy is bad in bed. It's the story of when I finally went skinny dipping, and how my life was never the same again. Oh, and it's also the story of my freshman year of college and realizing Mr. Right might have been there all along.

Authors Tell All: Tiffany King

Hi Everyone! Today I'm excited to start a brand new author guest post series on the blog. I'll be inviting authors over to share their skinny dipping storieswhether their own or their characters. For my first guest I have the amazing Tiffany King! She's here with quite a treat: A skinny dipping scene with Ashton and Nathan from No Attachments! If you haven't checked out this awesome NA contemporary read, I'm sure you will after reading this scene. :)

Ashton and Nathan's Skinny Dip in the Lake
By Tiffany King

“I’m not sure about this,” I said, looking around nervously.
“Come on, no one’s around,” Nathan cajoled, grinning devilishly. “It’s on your list.”
“Only because you wrote it in this morning,” I pointed out.
“It seemed shameful that you'd leave something this important off your list.”
“Strangely enough, I’ve never had much desire to strip down naked in broad daylight on someone else's property.”
“Mr. James won’t mind. Besides, it's almost our anniversary. We can make this a yearly ritual,” Nathan said, confidently tugging his t-shirt up over his head. I was momentarily distracted as I took in his well defined abdomen and pecks. After months of abstinence, the night we had just spent together barely scratched the surface of desire I’d been holding at bay for months.
“Just because he gave you permission to be out here last year for our failed picnic doesn’t mean it’s an open-ended offer,” I finally answered, pulling my eyes away from his hands which had just unfastened the snap on his jeans.
“Come on sweets, It is kinda hot, right? I mean, it's naughty, but also exhilarating because it's like—whoa, we're naked in the woods,” he taunted, slowly stalking me.
“You're not helping your case, freako,” I giggled. "Stop," I said, holding up my hands in hopes of fending off his advances.
“Stop what?” he asked innocently as he pulled me in close to drop a kiss on my neck. “You mean this does nothing for you?” he added, running his mouth along my cheek. The touch of his soft lips on my skin made my legs liquefy and all my inhibitions melt away. “Do you really want me to stop?” he murmured, deftly undoing the buttons of my blouse.
“No,” I shuddered, dropping my head back as he chuckled softly at my surrender.
"Whatever. Just kiss me," I demanded. Within moments I was standing naked in his arms. He quickly discarded his jeans before pulling me flush against him. Our lips found each other and he devoured every sigh of desire that escaped me. Without breaking the kiss, he scooped me up into his arms. My entire body tingled as the heat between us quickly reached a boiling point.
I lost myself in our arousal until the splashing of water and sudden submersion shocked me as I broke the surface. “What the hell are you doing?” I sputtered, treading water as I tried to keep my feet from touching the slimy bottom of the lake.
“Skinny dipping. Wasn’t that the plan?” he replied, trying not to laugh.
“You punk, you tricked me," I said, splashing him with water. "I thought we were gonna—you know."
“You knew all along skinny dipping was the plan,” he said, laughing loudly. He reached out to pull me toward him, but I continued to squirm away.
“Well, that was before you started your whole magic lips routine,” I grumbled. I continued to splash water to keep him at bay, until before I knew it an all out water fight had erupted. After a moment, I was quickly winded from giggling, treading water and trying to keep from getting dunked by Nathan again.
“Truce?” he asked, holding up his hands to surrender.
“Truce,” I answered mischievously, waiting for my moment to strike. Seeing the gleam in my eyes, Nathan shook his head knowingly before sinking completely beneath the surface. I waited apprehensively for him to strike when something brushed against my foot.
"Gaahh! " I shrieked, instinctively pulling my foot away before realizing it was Nathan’s hand.
“Not funny,” I chastised as he pulled my body flush against his. “I thought you were a gator or something.”
“Would you really have even stayed in here this long if you thought there were gators in here? Besides, gators usually don’t stray this far north,” he teased, dropping his lips to mine.
“Yeah, well, I don't want any little fish swimming around my hoo ha either,” I said as our legs tangled together beneath the water.
“What?” he said, choking on his laughter.
"Hey, keep laughing, but I'd be worried if I were you. I'm not the one with a worm dangling down there."
"Holy shit," he said. "I so didn't think of that."
“You two mind takin it ashore, you're scarrin away the fish,” a gruff voice said from behind us, making us both freeze.
“Can't say as I'm not enjoyin the show, though,” another voice chimed in, making it clear we had an audience.
“I’m going to kill you,” I mouthed before sinking beneath the water. I swam back toward the shore to the muffled sounds of laughter from Nathan and Mr. James. This is why skinny dipping had never been added to my list.
"How was I supposed to know they'd be out here fishing?"Nathan laughed, swimming beside me to the shore.
"I hope you're still laughing when your pasty butt is doing the walk of shame to get me a towel," I grumbled. Thankfully, the murky water kept things covered while I waited.
"Don't worry. I don't think they saw your boobies," Nathan teased. He pulled me in for a quick kiss before confidently striding out of the water in all his naked glory.
I couldn't help laughing at Mr. James and old Doc Myers catcalling from their canoe, causing Nathan to flush across the back of his neck as he bent over and wrapped one of our towels around his waist. He headed back with a second towel in hand to the shallow water where I was still kneeling under the murky cover. I stood up to Nathan's outstretched arms as he wrapped the towel firmly wrapped round me and led me from the water to more whistles from the two old perv's in the canoe. I turned around and blew them both a kiss before turning back to Nathan.
"Can we go home now?"

The Hazards of Skinny Dipping Excerpt and Giveaway!

Hey everyone! Hazards releases in less than two weeks, so I thought it was time for another excerpt and an ARC giveaway (Print-U.S./Canada or e-ARC international)!

“Are these seats okay?” Reed led us to seats in a nearly empty balcony.
“Perfect.” I slipped off my jacket.
“Do you always get Twizzlers at the movies?” He sipped his soda.
“Yes. I love them, and popcorn is the worst movie theater food.”
“The worst? This I have to hear.”
“You can’t eat popcorn without getting thirsty, which means drinking a lot, which means going to the bathroom during the best scene of the movie.”
He laughed. “All right, because that isn’t the weirdest explanation ever.”
“You’re not a girl. If you have to go, you run to the men’s room for two seconds. A woman has to wait ten minutes in line.”
He laughed harder, but then he leaned in. “Are you drunk?”
“Maybe. Why?”
“You’re funnier than usual. I was wondering if this was a post-Dylan thing, or just a drunk thing.”
“Let’s not even mention his name.”
“Good deal.”
The movie started, and I settled in my seat. I liked scary movies, but I definitely got jumpy. Thankfully, Reed was hilarious.
“Don’t go back there, idiot,” Reed whispered. “If you’re ever in a slasher movie, remember not to have sex. As soon as you take your top off, you’re toast.”
I laughed. “I’ll try to remember that.”
“Good.”
Even though I knew what was coming, I still jumped, grabbing onto Reed’s arm as I shrieked. He laughed as he put his arm around me. “Are you going to be able to sleep tonight?”
“Probably…with the lights on.”
“There’s nothing to worry about. Just don’t sleep naked, and you’ll be fine. You’re not a good victim if you’re not naked.”
I nudged him. “It’s really good I don’t sleep naked then.”
“I do, but it’s the girls they want naked. The slasher would probably run the other way if he saw me naked.”
Reed naked. I didn’t need to think about that.
“Are you picturing me naked, Juliet?”
“No.” Oh my god. Was I really staring that badly?
“I don’t mind. Feel free.” He looked forward again, keeping his arm around me.
